System limited warranty 


All Micro Express computers have two year limited* parts and labor warranty with optional 3rd and 4th year extended** warranty available. In addition, a toll-free number is supplied for free hardware technical support for as long as you own your computer. This warranty is extended to the original owner only and is non-transferable. All warranty services may be provided by Micro Express and authorized technicians only. Micro Express shall not honor claims resulting from services rendered by a third party or damages resulting from alterations, problem with electrical power, neglect, misuse, abuse or improper operating environment. failure to perform required prevention maintenance (cleaning), and problems caused by use of parts and component not supplied by Micro Express. Monitors and special orders are covered by manufacturer warranty.

* LCD Screen, Optical drives and batteries have one year Warranty
** Extended warranty does not cover batteries.

Limited parts and labor warranty

Micro Express warrants this hardware product against defects in materials and workmanship for period of the warranty from the date of original purchase. If you discover a defect, Micro Express will at its option, repair or replace at no charge to you, provided you service it during the warranty period, and provided you obtain a RMA# (Return Material Authorization Number) prior to shipping your defective product. The RMA number must appear plainly on the outside of the shipping packaging. RMA numbers can be obtained by calling Micro Express at 1-800-989-9900 Ext. 702. To each product returned for warranty service, please attach your NAME, ADDRESS, TELEPHONE NUMBER, RMA NUMBER and proof of date of original purchase. You must ship the products to Micro Express in their original packaging; shipping paid and insured or accept the risk of loss or damage during the shipment. 

Standard Warranty Service
Micro Express Will Ship you the repaired or replacement product after it received your defective product. You have 30 days from the date the RMA is created to send us your defective product

Advanced Replacements Warranty Service
Micro Express may offer advance replacement for some defective parts. We ship the replacement part in advance and you have 20 days to return the defective part. A credit card is required to insure the return of defective part.

This warranty does not cover the components of the system that do not meet Micro Express definition of defective including, but not limited to LCD PANELS WITH LESS THAN FIVE (5) DEFECTIVE PIXELS, damage due to external causes, including accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, servicing not authorized by Micro Express, usage not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by Micro Express. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY IF THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN MODIFIED WITHOUT THE WRITTEN PERMISSION OF ,Micro Express OR IF ANY SERIAL NUMBER HAS BEEN REMOVED OR DEFACED. 

The warranty and remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all others, whether oral or written express or implied Micro Express specifically disclaims any and all implied warranties. Including without limitation, warranties or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. No Micro Express dealer, agent or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension or addition to this warranty. Micro Express is not responsible for special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty, or under any other legal theory, including but not limited to lost profits, Downtime, goodwill damage to or replacement of equipment and property and any costs of recovering reprogramming or reproducing any program or data stored in or used with Micro Express products. 

NOTE: Before you ship the product(s) to Micro Express, back up the data on the hard-disk drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Remove any removable media, such as diskettes, CDs, or PC Cards.
 

Tech support and returning defective merchandise 

To acquire warranty service, please call our technical support line at (800) 989-9900 EXT 702.. Return Merchandise authorization (RMA) may also be obtained by calling technical support. All returned merchandise must be packed in original packaging and include all original disk, accessories and manuals. Merchandise must be sent freight pre-paid and insured to:

30 day money back guarantee

Refunds will only be given within 30 days of the original invoice date. The 30-day money back guarantee is subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. Customer must call to obtain an RMA number (return merchandise authorization) from technical support. 
2. Products must be shipped back to Micro Express freight pre-paid and insured in original packaging. Micro Express will not refund shipping charges. Please pack carefully and include all accessories, manuals, materials, etc. Write the RMA number on the outside of the box and include a copy of the invoice with the reason for returning the merchandise. Follow the procedures as written under "Returning Defective Merchandise". If you have any questions concerning the return, please call Micro Express Technical Support for instructions. The return must be complete for a full refund. 
3. Opened software, CD-Packs, and special order items are not refundable. 
4. After 30 days from the date of the original invoice, the merchandise may only be replaced or repaired (at Micro Express’ discretion). No return privilege, either credit or refund, shall be given to such merchandise. 
5. System must be received within 10 calender days from the issued RMA date.
 
Upgrades or change of merchandise

You may upgrade or change merchandise within 30 days of the original invoice date. Please call your salesperson for details (your salespersons’ name is printed on your invoice). After speaking to your sales person, please contact technical support to arrange for an RMA number. Your Upgrade or exchange will be shipped only after Micro Express has received your original component(s). Your are responsible for shipping both ways when upgrading or changing merchandise within the first 30 days of the original invoice date. Shipped orders will be considered complete and satisfactory unless Micro Express is notified otherwise within 3 days of receipt of merchandise.

When will I receive my replacement RMA component 

Replacement components will be shipped upon receipt of the original component or part, allowing for availability and market trends.
